Network Management

US Cable is committed to ensuring a positive online experience for all US Cable’s high-speed data customers. Consistent with this commitment US Cable will fully adhere to the principals outlined in the FCC's Internet Policy Statement (FCC 05-151).

The goal of any network or congestion management practice US Cable implements will be to enable all users of our network resources to access a “fair share” of that bandwidth.

We employ, other than standard best efforts Internet delivery, caching and application-neutral bandwidth allocation to allocate capacity; limit usage; and employ spam filters to manage illegal or harmful content. These practices are subject to the needs of law enforcement and reasonable network management.

US Cable will collect relevant modem data from each Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) employ “congestion management” server(s) and Packet Cable Multimedia (PCMM) application servers to ensure full protocol-agnostic network management. The network management process will be fully transparent and subscribers will be aware of any/all usage limitations and will have the means to monitor their usage accordingly.
