“The Digital Millennium Copyright Act”
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act was in acted in 1998 to aid in protection of copyrighted
material. This law defines US Cable as a Service Provider. It requires us to cooperate with
aggrieved parties or face liability for the illegal offense. If we receive notice from the copyright holder and do not inform our customer, we may be liable for the copyright violation because we are defined as an “enabler”.

Be sure to include your name and contact information, a full description of the incident, its date and time, log files, or any other information that will help US Cable investigate any report.
